We are a group of software developers, entrepreneurs, investors and cryptographers with a shared passion for building a fair, secure and decentralized blockchain open source platform.
Prof. Tal Moran
Tal has been a faculty member at the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya since 2011. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Research on Computation and Society at Harvard University. He holds a Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science, where his advisor was Moni Naor. Tal's research focuses on employing ideas and techniques from theoretical cryptography to design secure systems for the “real world.” He's also interested in the foundations of cryptography and the theory of cryptography in general.
Dr. Iddo Bentov
Iddo, who has been involved in the Bitcoin space since 2011, is a postdoctoral researcher at Cornell University and the author of several academic papers on cryptography and cryptocurrency. He aso works on succinct zero-knowledge proofs at SCIPR Lab, and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Yosher spends most of his time gardening, camping, and baking muffins while listening to electro-jazz. He's been lurking on the internet and building stuff since he saw his first motherboard. These days he tends to deploy gophers to build solid P2P software. He says that people say that he talks too much about decentralization and privacy. We especially like his muffins, but he's also pretty smart.
A self-motivated, hands-on software engineering leader, Yuval has over 12 years of experience in the domains of network security and storage systems. Passionate about solving hard problems and learning what tickles people, in his spare time he likes to unwind with intermediate problems and tickle people. He holds an M.Sc. from the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya (cum laude) and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (cum laude).
Tomer has spent over three decades on both sides of the startup table. He helped to found Showbox.com, and was the co-founder/CEO of ConvertMedia, a Big Data startup (acquired by Taboola). Prior to that, he spent seven years as an investor at Evergreen VC, among one of Israel’s oldest and largest VCs, where he was in charge of Internet & New-Media investments. Tomer was also on the founding team of Sanctum Inc., a leader in web application security. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Computer Science (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.
Rami is the Managing Partner at Scale-Up Venture Capital. Prior to that, for over 25 years, Rami was the founder, CEO and/or venture investor of several successful startups. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science (cum laude) from the Weizmann Institute, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.
head of operations
Ifat brings over 20 years of global management experience to Spacemesh. Her passion for the worlds of innovation and new technology always leads her back to the startup realms, where the future meets the now. She has served as the general manager of Interlude (now Eko), a digital media tech company that is revolutionizing online video storytelling, and as VP Biz Dev for Scidel Tech, a Scitex subsidiary on the cutting-edge of virtual advertising. In her spare time she's working on her private pilot's license, as well as – no, just kidding. Ifat doesn't have any spare time.
The eagle of blockchain, Aviv divides his time between hovering way up in the sky, where he's got a perfect bird's eye view of the entire domain, and diving down to get his hands dirty. A successful serial entrepreneur and CTO (co-founder of Grouper Networks, a San Francisco based online video sharing platform acquired by Sony and rebranded Crackle.com), Aviv has forgotten more about building innovative online software platforms and p2p networks for individual and social empowerment than most ever learn. He's also a former VP Technology at Sony. Seriously, he's one of the actual grownups we have working here.
